“GhodGhod va Ghogholi” is the latest in a series of children’s books introducing young readers to animals, written by Ms. Fatemeh (Fereshteh) Motamedi, the founder of Vafa Animal Shelters.

After translating Sallaneh Sallaneh (by Marc Bekoff) and So You Love Animals (by Zoe Weil), Ms. Motamedi went on to write “Majarahaye Shishi “(about a cat named Shishi), Feshfesheh (about a dog named Feshfesheh), and “Karegahane Koocheh Kaveh” (about a group of neighborhood children who try to save animals’ lives). In her new book “GhodGhod va Ghogholi”, she focuses on feathered animals.

We are pleased to announce that the Shop section of the Friends of Vafa website in Canada is now active, and Vafa’s published books are available for purchase there.
More products will soon be added to the online store, helping to create an additional source of income for the Vafa Animal Shelters in Iran.
