Koolak (Means strong wind with snow in Persian)Neutered Male- Kelpie / Shepherd mix Born April, 2012

He and his five other brothers and sisters were brought to the shelter late in March. They were separated form their mother when only a few days old.

Koolak is affectionate, intelligent and curious. He loves toys and is very playful. He loves to be petted and is good with children and other animals. He is a fast runner and a courageous swimmer.He is unquestionably beautiful with pointy ears and his unique body is so agile.

Female, German Shepherd mix –Spayed- Born in July of 2012

Her mother was brought to the shelter when she was pregnant. Shab boo is part of a litter that was born in the shelter.

She is a fast learner, however a little shy. She is gentle towards people and other dogs. She will need lots of socialization and reward-based training to grow to become a confident and happy dog.

Toofan (Storm) Neutered Male Heeler mix – Born in March of 2012

This lovely boy was separated from his mother and brought to the shelter with his other five brothers and sisters in late March, while he was only a few days old. Toofan is affectionate, smart, playful and curious.

He loves children, people, dogs and other animals. He loves to burn off his energy running and swimming when the temperature is right.

Toofan is ready for a loving home where his human family members can provide with adequate exercise and human attention.

Nakhoda (Persian for Captain)Neutered Male – 18 months old – Tripod – Border Collie mix

He is named after Captain Long John Silver, the one legged and adventurist character of “The Treasure Island”.This Lovely boy was found on the streets of Tehran when he was only five months old.  His left leg was badly injured and he had a severe skin condition.

He was brought to the shelter and the only way to save his life, was no other choice but to amputate his injured leg from above the knee. His Skin condition was treated at the same time.

Nakhoda is a happy dog, loves life, loves people and has a bright outlook on things.  He is sweet and playful.  He has had a tough life and is looking for a loving home where his human family members will adore him, teach him new things and show him the good life, so that he can leave the painful past behind

Panjeh (means “Paws” in Persian)Female, Border Collie mix, Born in August of 2012, Spayed

This lovely girl was brought to the shelter when she was a very young puppy. Once she warms up to someone, she will pay attention and follow you. She is eager to learn new things and getting positively socialized in the world outside of the shelter, so that she can live a stress-free and happy life in a human world.

She is ready for her forever loving home, where she can shine and bring much joy and love into the lives her family members.
