César (Gaspayk)

César (Gaspayk)

My name is César, formerly known as GaspaykI was a very sick little puppy when Arash family rescued me and cared me back to health and then I came to the shelter. I lived there for a few months until Mr. Mohseni came and chose me to go home with him to a beautiful garden where one other dog lived.Gorgi and I hit it off right away Sand decided to be good brothers to each other.I should brag a little and mention that I have heard Mr. Mohseni tell Ms. Zarrin that he likes me not only for my good looks, but more for my desire to please him and guard our garden.

I am always waiting for him to arrive so I can show him all my love and loyalty. Wolfie is always learning from me too. I love my new home and my guardian and show it in my behavior as well as my happy face. I wish the same sweet life for the other dogs at the shelter.I wish the same sweet life for the other dogs at the shelter.

Joey & Gandom

Joey & Gandom

I am Joey, a good looking and playful fellow. I was quite a handful in the few months that I was at the shelter and I don’t think any one misses me over there. I was Mohammad’s favorite and he had spoiled me at lot.I learned the basic commands very quickly.

On a beautiful fall day me and a cute female puppy that was name Gandom went to our new home in an orchard with Arshadi family.

I was besides myself at the sight of that orchard. Gandom and I get along very well and team up to guard the property. Arshadi family are the best! I wish for all of Vafa dogs to find homes with families like mine.

Tin Tin & Sasha

Tin Tin & Sasha

Hello, my name is Tintin, a handsome, gentle boy. Although I am very young but my short life had so many ups and downs,I have a lot of story to tell you about those sad days.when I was very little, I lost my mother and my siblings and I had scab too. That winter, cold weather outside, fear of homelessness and loneliness inside me, starvation and that severe disease was beyond imagination. but even worst was the cruelty of some people, it made everything even worst and worst.one night, a miracle happened and a beautiful soul found me; disappointed, homeless and sick and took me to Vafa Animal Shelter. It took me a long time to heal my wounds, inside and outside and forget my sorrows.time was flying and I get older and bigger, I was not sick anymore .

All of that kindness and attention cured me.one day in Spring, a very nice family came to visit Vafa Animal shelter, The Nazaris, They adopted my sister Sasha and me.

I was nervous. Ms. Zarrin was whispering in my ears that a nice house with a beautiful garden and two nice comfy dog houses are all waiting for us.

I would never forget that magical day that we walked to our beautiful forever home. We sniffed everywhere, we checked all corners. and the most wonderful thing for us was all the love and devotions that we could have from Mr. and Ms. Nazari, food, a home and an endless love for both of us.my sister and I feel so lucky that we never look back at our past and all those cold, dark days.I am working hard these days to keep our home safe, I am all ears for my lovely parents and I am always looking forward for them to come back home, to have another hug, another touch of love. And a few words from Sasha:I am a beautiful, lovely girl and I was really lucky to be adopted by the nicest family ever. Of course, my brother, Tintin and I made a great team. my talent and instinct from one side and Tintin’s devotion and hard work from other side, made us even more special. We both are happy, playing the whole day in our lovely home and we are both grateful to our kind family and we truly hope that all of our friends back at the Vafa Shelter could have the chance to be adopted by a great family and could find their forever home.

Nana & Husky

Nana & Husky

I am Nana, a smart and pretty girl. At first glance you may think I am just a dog, but part bird. Yes, specially when I see a cat on top of a wall. When I lived at the shelter I exercised and perfected my vertical moves reacting to the dogs that roamed around the rooftop. My brother, Husky and I got lucky on the same

day when a kind family picked us to go home with them.

Kind Mr. Arefi, took us to his beautiful and green garden. When guests come over Husky and I chill out in the backyard. We have become good friends for little Radin and the three of us play a lot and even go for walks some times. Husky and I have even gone back to the shelter for a visit with old friend. We live a very good life in our beautiful home and stay out of the flower beds. We heard our family praise our behavior and run to them and wag our tails for their loving.Husky and I want the same thing to happen to our friends at the shelter.Until that day…

Khepel & Zebel& Brown

Khepel & Zebel& Brown

Brace yourself for my amazing story! My name is Brown. I was brought to the shelter as a very sick puppy with severe digestive disease that left me with a heart condition that will stay with me for life. I remember that first day at the shelter as I was thinking how I could survive amongst so many dogs, Ms. Zarrin asked one of the volunteers if he would take me home with him since I needed special care, and he agreed. He held me in his arms right away and took me home with him. I didn’t know that he had taken in two other little abandoned puppies the week before.

We were all so happy to meet and become playmates. They are Khepel (chubby) and Zebel (smarty). They both live up to their names, Khepel is mellow and cuddly, and Zebel is always bossing every one around and is very observant. The three of us keep ourselves very busy all day as we dig, chew and even destroy new plants and watermelon and cantaloupe beds. One day the car door was left open and we even explored things in there. I destroyed a pair of glasses while Khepel and Zebel raided some documents. That, was fun!One of Khepel’s talents is to open doors. As soon as we are home alone he picks at the door handle and we get in the room like a wrecking ball and do as we are pleased. But none of this has stopped us from being invited to our daddy’s birthday party. But here is the story I promised you. One day Khepel and Zebel were bored and against my advise left the property via a pipeline, and were stolen right away. When our daddy got home he got very worried and the two of us went looking for them. I worked like an experienced search dog, listened and sniffed our way to the property where my brothers were being held. Luckily the door was open and we tiptoed in there. Soon, we saw that Zebel was running to us and then made sure that we followed him to were Khepel was tied to a tree. Apparently the dog thief was able to detain Khepel who is slower but could not catch Zebel. And Zebel would not leave his trapped brother behind. As soon as Khepel was free the four of us ran to safety as fast as we could and huddled joyfully. Our daddy talks about my skills and Zebels loyalty all the time. My brothers and I have found our forever home and are very happy. My life is full of heroes. I even have grandparents who love me and make sure I take my daily medications. My parents have to take me to my monthly visits with the vet. I will never forget the sad days that my daddy stayed with me patiently while I was connected the IV.I will never find the word to show my gratitude for the heroes and blessings of my happy life.
