Moozhan

Moozhan

It was Summer of 2013 that Moozhan and her little sister, Roozhan, at no more than two months of age, hungry and lost, made their way to caring hands of Vafa Shelter.

It was about the same days that Ms. Kazemi and her family, the Rasoolis, came to the shelter for a visit and to choose a lucky dog to take home with them They had recently rescued and adopted a little puppy and had named him César. Moozhan had the winning ticket and was chosen to be César’s best friend. The two of them live happily in a garden with their family who love them dearly. They are never tied up and are free to do as they please any time of day or night. Surely, Moozhan is one the luckiest of Vafa dogs. You may know that her sister, Roozhan, lucked out and was adopted by the kind Niavarani family and happy and healthy.Dear Kazemi -Rasooli families, we greatly appreciate the gift of life that you offered to Moozhan. We wish all the best that life has to offer for you. May you always be happy and healthy.

Rojan

Rojan

Rojan’s departure from the shelter to her forever home was laced with kisses from her caretakers. Kisses, warm embraces and the safe haven that Niavarani family has gifted Rojan has made her one of the luckiest Vafa dogs. The starved and sickly stray who was found wandering the streets with her sister, Moojan, was given the best chance in life after coming to Vafa Shelter.

Last Winter, Rojan went to her beautiful new home in the heart of Marzan-Abad Forest near Chaloose to spend the best days of her life. Every day, Rojan and her brother, Sammie, go for long walks in the forest around their house with Shima and Niloofar and the family.Joyfully, they splash around in the stream, and roll around in the dried leaves on the ground. They chase each other in the woods. And return home pleasantly exhausted and with happy memories.Rojan keeps herself quite busy around the house as well. She doesn’t neglect any of the plants in the yard, and has pulled every one of them out by the root. She also likes to dig tunnels under the trees to make sure their roots breathe.. Mrs. Niavarani, with unimaginable patience, says: “Reagan is reliving her puppy-hood and in a future not to far away, she will learn to be nice to the plants.”. She continues: “Rojan is a beautiful, polite, smart and obedient girl, and the best sister that Sammie could have.”.It is possible for a dog to get lucky in Iran as well. Surely, there are more families like the Niavaranis who can open their kind hearts and share their homes with more pet. Vafa dogs keep their eyes pinned to the road for their arrival.Dear Niavarani family, Vafa team and residents are grateful for your kindness.

Termeh & Sarri

Termeh & Sarri

Adopted by Alimardani’s family

“Saari”, a 2 month old boy, who wandered the street hopelessly and hungry, was lucky enough to be found by Vafa’s friends. He spent two happy years in Vafa to heal until Doctor Alimardani along with his little daughter came and picked two dogs.Saari and Termeh, these two beautiful dogs, became the best behaved dogs they could have from the beginning.

Termeh and Saari have been living in their new home happily, for a few months now. They are competent guard dogs for this loving family too. Doctor Alimardani takes them for a walk sometimes. The dear Alimardani family cares for them kindly and loves them so.It is only fair to thank Alimardani’s family here, especially their little daughter who loves animals. We are grateful.

Chaman & Lucky (Nikoo)

Chaman & Lucky (Nikoo)

It was last winter when Mr. Sajad Farahmand came to Vafa to take two dogs with him. Nikoo, who is now named “Lucky”, and “Chaman” were the two boys Mr. Farahmand chose to go home with them.

It has been five months now that they live in a beautiful garden and have become it’s watch dogs.Friday, when some of Vafa staff went to visit these two beautiful kids, they found the dogs to be in good health and very happy. It made them happy also.Mr. Farahmand has taken very good care of them and has trained them very well.It is quite clear that the dogs love their home and their people. The relationship between Lucky and Chaman with their caretaker is interesting to observe. We are thankful of Farahmand family for caring for these two beautiful dogs.

Tala& Parnian& Shabrokh

Tala& Parnian& Shabrokh

They did not know, they are going to their beautiful forever home, so Tala was not in the mood for a car ride, Parnian was very happy just like always and Shabrokh was confused. They all got into the car, and with old time friend Armin, we started the trip toward a beautiful garden and a more beautiful guardian who was waiting for us.

When we arrived, the dogs got so excited. They started running and rolling in the colorful leaves. They made friends with Sharon, the old dog of the house. Now there were four of them playing and would later eat their tasty food together.Fall is a beautiful season and even more beautiful with dogs running around.Mr. Faraji, the new guardian for the pack, watches them with joy and happiness. After only a few months he has many stories about all of them, especially Parnian, his favorite. He smiles and says, Parnian runs very fast around the pool and then runs toward me and throws himself in my lap. He sits beside me and get ready for me to tell him to do it again. Tala, Shabrokh, Parnian and beautiful Sharon know their jobs very well. They are the best security for the house and its garden.Vafa wishes the best of the best for Mr. Faraj and his Family.

Jessie&Black

Jessie&Black

I’m Jessie, pretty girl with golden fur.I was very little and helpless when I came to the shelter. I lived there for a year with my good friends until…one warm summer day; a kind man came to Vafa. He picked Black and I to take to his beautiful home and garden.

Black and I had no idea what amazing and magical fate awaits us.I never forget the moment we entered the garden. There was a pleasant breeze flowing under the green trees that day so much so that it brought me to ecstasy and I started running uncontrollably, I may even have been flying that day.I was running and screaming, “This much fortune and me, no, never”. Black , who is younger than me by a couple of months, accompanied me through this amazing fortune and ran with me so much until we were both out of breath. That day, we both decided to be good brother and sister for one another.Mr. Nasserian and his lovely kind mother were now our family too.It has been two years since my brother and I spend beautiful days with this lovely family. The days when they water the garden and the canals are filled with cold, running water, we become very playful and funny. So funny that we make everyone laugh by our swimming and funny little games. My brother and I are very thankful that our kind family has offered such joy and happiness, along with security. For this kindness, we guard their home quite well.We wish that our other brother and sisters, in the shelter, can someday taste the wonderful feeling of having a home and a family.
