Urban homeless animals are not a “problem” to be removed from cities in order to solve it; they are part of a reality that must be properly managed.


Scientific evidence has shown for years that the sustainable solution is not to eliminate animals, but to manage their population responsibly through spaying and neutering, vaccination, and responsible population control.
International Homeless Animals Day reminds us that responsible coexistence cannot be achieved through compassion for animals alone; it also requires awareness and a sense of responsibility.
