Earth Day is a global event aimed at reminding us of the importance of protecting the environment.
This event is held annually on April 22, and millions of people around the world come together to celebrate this environmental movement.
Fortunately, in Iran, too, conscious, responsible, and passionate young people have been forming small groups and taking action to protect the environment for quite some time now. They’ve also created numerous social media pages to raise awareness and educate the public. These pages address issues such as the condition of Iran’s wetlands, wildfires in oak forests, land subsidence in Fars, the plundering of Hormuz’s soil, the garbage and plastic crisis, harm to wildlife, and other environmental concerns.
As responsible and caring citizens of our country, let’s do our part, however small, to protect Iran’s environment, nature, and wildlife.
