Here at the shelter everyone keeps their distance from Felfel, be it a human or a dog because he is spicy!

Three years ago someone saw him tied to a rope, in front of a restaurant in the city of Yazd.  His hair was tangled and dirty, with some inedible leftover food beside him.  The person could not do anything right away, but a few days later left Tehran to go and find him again.  That is how Felfel arrived at the shelter.  He was very nervous and had a temper.  You could guess that he had a rough past.  Mr. Karam was the first one who could make a connection with him, and they became friends. He was also able to make a connection with Raana.  Felfel is one of the dogs that have a label on his vest saying: “Don’t touch me, I am nervous!”

Please don’t request to adopt him, because Mr. Felfel has his own residence now. Every day he comes to the shelter and goes back home with his Mommy, Raana.  If someone intrudes into his space, he will snap a little. Mr. Karam is an exception though because he was the first person that Felfel was able to trust.
