Dear Friends:
Our hearts are filled with sorrow upon the sudden loss of one of our dear supporters, Maryam Afshar.
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Vafa Shelter just lost this valuable friend to cancer.
Maryam was a true animal lover who paid attention to our animals with special needs. Having the choice of many beautiful and healthy animals, she picked out our three-legged Golpar for adoption.
We share this pain in sympathy and pray for peace and endurance for her family and friends.
It is fair to say that the animals in her care have lost an amazing and dedicated care giver who mothered them with all her heart and soul.
Maryam Afshar will be greatly missed by many…
