It was late spring of 2024 when this beautiful dog was discovered wandering the deserts nearby, accompanied by a few puppies. No one could say for sure if they were her own. She was brought to the shelter and found a place to call home in Yard Two.
One day, as Mr. Hashemi was taking “Dastan” out for a walk, he noticed her standing quietly nearby. He decided to take her along too, giving her a chance to stretch her legs and feel the kindness she deserved.
We named her Lotus. She stayed in the outdoor area, where her graceful beauty caught the eye of almost everyone who passed by.
A couple of weeks ago, a family visited the shelter looking for a small-breed dog. But the moment they laid eyes on Lotus, their plans changed. They fell for her charm and chose her instead.
Today, Lotus lives happily in a warm home, surrounded by love and playful moments — just the life she had been waiting for.
