On the May 16th, 2014, Vafa Animal Shelter was hosting a government dignitary, Mr. Hamid Reza Lashgari (The Technical Deputy Director at the Department of Environmental Protection of Alborz Province) and one Environmental Ranger accompanying him.
Our guest was delightfully inspecting all corners of the shelter and its facilities admiring what our hard-working volunteer staff had managed to create a habitat for our loving animals on board.
Mr Lashgari also mentioned that existing such a shelter as a role model can lead the municipalities of the Alborz province toward paying more attention to the life of stray dogs and cats. At the end, he added that his department will surely extend its assistance to VAFA whenever such a cooperation is deemed necessary.
We all are thankful for his kind and promising words.
Vafa and its fans wish to shake hands with all organizations to make a better life and cruel-free environment for all living existents.
