Pesteh (pistachio in Persian)

My name is Pesteh. When I was only one-month old I was left abandoned on a street in Tehran. Why I did not have a home, I cannot remember. What I remember is that Vafa’s Patrons found me, and since I was very small I was taken to a volunteer’s home. The plan was that after a few months and getting my vaccines I would be brought to the shelter. I am glad I was at a home because I kept on getting sick, and I needed special care. Those crucial times passed and when I came to the shelter I was six months old, a young lady.

I reside in lot number 2. Fortunately, I have a lot of courage and can manage very well at the shelter. Kind “Ms.Mandi ” is my sponsor and I am very happy for that.
