Henna came to the shelter with her sister Bita, and her brother Soltan. Her sister met her when she was five years old, due to a sudden ailment.
Henna and her brother are sponsored by Mr. Gholamreza Piroozbakht who took care of these puppies in his home until they were one-year-old. During that time Henna had a hemorrhage, which could have easily taken her life. Mr. Piroozbakht did all he could to save her life by giving his time and covering all the expenses for surgery.

Mr. Piroozbakht is one of the active and regular volunteers of Vafa who spends several hours every week through out the year to help with the numerous tasks at the shelter.
